Neutron and Nova operators already register hashes for external configMaps / Secrets they produce for EDP consumption on CRD. See for example:

We should do the same for OVN operator ConfigMap.

This field is not consumed by anything right now, but it may be of interest later when we try to automate redeployments for EDP based on config changes on OCP side.
