Description
Ceph has powerful clone / snapshot capabilities, this feature tracks the work required to better integrate Cinder and Glance with Ceph RBD snapshots. Improving integration can speed up operations, reduce storage consumption and improve tenant's users experience.
This feature tracks two main RFEs:
- Improve image from volume creation
- Implement clonev2 in Glance to mimic cinder behavior.
