Network performance automation (https://github.com/redhat-openstack/ansible-nfv/tree/master/playbooks/packet_gen/trex) is a collection of Ansible playbooks that performs network performance testing.
Used to execute performance testing on various dataplane data paths supported by OpenStack (OVS-DPDK, SR-IOV, OVS Hardware Offload)
Requirements:
- The playbook(s) need to be able to run as part of Zuul CI jobs.
- The playbook(s) assumes physical network equipment is configured correctly (RHOSINFRA-5263)
- The playbook(s) require a deployed OpenStack environment.
- The playbook(s) require an Ansible inventory to access OpenStack nodes and execute OpenStack APIs.
