There is OSPRH-1490 , where the goal is assessing what are the differences between the old OSP 17.1 environment and new RHOSO environment. That is, we'd use OS Diff after the podified control plane was already deployed to help assess suitability of its configuration.

We'd like to see if we can go a step further and use OS Diff prior to deploying the podified control plane. The goal would be for OS Diff to produce configuration snippets for the podified control plane based on the OSP 17.1 config. (Perhaps the snippets could be used with kustomize – that should be refined.)
