      setting this to critical severity as it will block the inclusion of cyborg in the integrated release upstream for the 2026.1 cycle.

      this is not a oslo.db bug but we are waiting on the creation of openstack-cyborg component in jira so using that temporally as its a required field

      cyborg is currently broken as it has not been adapted to use the moderen oslo.db enginfacade

      the legacy facade has been deprecated for about a dacade and this technial debt has gone unadressed in cyborg since its inception

      with the removal of this legacy interface in oslo.db 18.0.0 cyborg is nolonger compatible with the upper constrating version of oslo.db and is now undeployable.
