During the Bobcat cycle, we have several topics to investigate and development work to complete.  The work outlined here is targeted to ensure the Heat projects stays up-to-date with wider OpenStack project trends and improve overall usability of the project. 

A summary of those tasks include:

• Operators wish to use the Stack Abandon / Adopt feature

• We need to finalise the process for migration from Neutron client over to the OpenStack SDK
• Replace deprecated sqlalchemy migration implementation with Alembic
• Move from System scoped to Project scoped as part of the SRBAC strategy
