What is the main user goal aka job to be done?
As a virtualization administrator, I want to migrate large VMware VMs to OpenStack using incremental disk seeding across multiple maintenance windows so that I can minimize downtime and avoid the risk of a single extended outage.
As a cloud architect, I want to understand how the CBT sync and cutover flags work together so that I can design migration strategies that align with our organization's maintenance window policies and SLA requirements.
As a system engineer, I want to learn the best practices for configuring multi-phase migrations with the seeding workflow so that I can ensure data consistency between sync phases and execute a reliable final cutover.
As an infrastructure operator, I want to monitor the progress of incremental syncs and understand the volume metadata (changeID, converted status) so that I can troubleshoot failed syncs and verify migration readiness before cutover.
As a migration project manager, I want to estimate the time required for each seeding phase and final cutover so that I can schedule maintenance windows appropriately and communicate expected downtime to stakeholders.
