The customer want to mount "/var/lib/nova/instances/" on 2nd disk in RHOSP-17.1
Hence we are looking for answers to below queries :

Is this supported ?

If yes, will it be safe to implement via [1] ?

by-default the OS disk in RHOSP-17 have thin-provisioning, which is causing IO performance issue to cus's ephemeral disk, so if they will have default ephemeral path on 2nd disk, will it be a thick provisioning (eliminating IO issues) ?
