      To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

      1. Repeatedly run the functional tests with --concurrency=1

      Expected behavior

      • All runs pass

      Actual behavior

      • After a few runs, the test fails

      The venv rework patch [1] was reverted due to sporadically failing tests. We need to fix the patch and get it re-merged.
