Hello Team,
Customer has a requirement of removing an existing QoS policy applied to a specific volume.
Summary of Requirements{}
- Cinder QoS policy
- Cinder backend: NetApp
- Backup solution: Veritas NBOS
Requirement{}
The customer is requesting the Cinder API call needed to remove an existing QoS policy.
Current Process Flow (as used by Veritas API calls){}
- A Cinder volume is created.
- A snapshot of the Cinder volume is taken.
- A temporary volume is created from the snapshot.
- The temporary volume is converted to a QCOW2 image.
- The QCOW2 image is mounted on the compute node where the VM is running (UShare is also mounted on the compute node).
- Data from the QCOW2 image is copied to the UShare.
- The QCOW2 image is unmounted, and the temporary volume is deleted.
Could you please let us know, what are the details/data are required from customer end to proceed further with this issue.
