      Hello Team,

      Customer has a requirement of removing an existing QoS policy applied to a specific volume.

      Summary of Requirements{}

      1. Cinder QoS policy
      2. Cinder backend: NetApp
      3. Backup solution: Veritas NBOS

      Requirement{}

      The customer is requesting the Cinder API call needed to remove an existing QoS policy.

      Current Process Flow (as used by Veritas API calls){}

      1. A Cinder volume is created.
      2. A snapshot of the Cinder volume is taken.
      3. A temporary volume is created from the snapshot.
      4. The temporary volume is converted to a QCOW2 image.
      5. The QCOW2 image is mounted on the compute node where the VM is running (UShare is also mounted on the compute node).
      6. Data from the QCOW2 image is copied to the UShare.
      7. The QCOW2 image is unmounted, and the temporary volume is deleted.

       

      Could you please let us know, what are the details/data are required from customer end to proceed further with this issue.
