The documentation (both upstream and downstream afaik) seems to be missing information and examples showing how to provision a custom image on baremetal nodes.

      Context:
my team (Upgrades) needs to be able to provision compute nodes with an older RHEL release, to mimic a "post-adoption" state, just before running the needed OS updates (switching EUS, and so on).
We therefore would like to delegate the compute provisioning to RHOSO, with a first dataplane deployment provisioning the compute with the selected image (older RHEL), and conduct our update/upgrade steps on those nodes.

      Thank you!

      C.
