To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/red_hat_openstack_services_on_openshift/18.0/html/performing_storage_operations/assembly_cinder-performing-operations_osp#proc_cinder-retyping-a-volume_operating-cinder
- Notice that it does not mention the '--retype-policy' option to the 'openstack volume
Expected behavior
- Option is mentioned along the lines of what is said in the 17.1 docs, i.e., https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/red_hat_openstack_platform/17.1/html/configuring_persistent_storage/assembly_performing-advanced-operations-with-block-storage_configuring-cinder#proc_retyping-a-volume-from-the-command-line_cinder-advanced (except that the option has a different name in 18.0)
- spoiler alert: the option will have a different name in 19.0 also
Bug impact
- End user has to go out of their way to find the option name and values.
Known workaround
- Look in the upstream openstackclient docs
