Description

Goal:

Migrate where the mpathd daemon executes on EDPM nodes, from running in a container to running directly on the EDPM host.

• This follows the guidance received from the RHEL storage team
• Running the daemon on the host facilitates the host booting from an iSCSI disk

Acceptance Criteria:

• Testing for new deployments ensuring that iSCSI works as expected
• Testing for upgrading existing deployments to ensure that iSCSI continues to work as expected

Open questions:

Do we need to verify FC also or is upcoming FC regression testing CI suffient?
