It is a tracker Jira for enabling BGP testing in RDO EDPM ZUUL job.

https://github.com/openstack-k8s-operators/install_yamls/pull/584 added the support of BGP in install_yamls. It is disabled by default.

The networking team will be working on enabling BGP testing in EDPM Zuul Job.

It will require compute nodes in different network connected via spin/leaf topology. 

BGP can be deployed via kernel routing in the edpm-node or via ovn-routing.

The CI-framework team will be setting a meeting with Networking team in 2024 Q1 to discuss the requirements and help networking team to start working on the EDPM zuul job.
