we're working through https://github.com/sqlalchemy/sqlalchemy/issues/12881 which adds some more thread-related test suites and also has located some issues with free-threaded python builds.     this involved getting py3.13t and py3.14t installed on CI and enabled in jenkins.  it also involves reworking of the github actions as well as the tox configuration to deal with a complex new set of compatibility/incompatibility across issues such as windows/linux, greenlet being available or not, etc.   the 2.0 backport will include the threading-related fixes but not any of the new build configurations, which are incompatible with the older 3.7, 3.8 pythons still supported by 2.0.
