Goal: 

Develop comprehensive test cases that execute and verify each step of the Proteccio HSM adoption process according to the official documentation. Tests should validate the complete adoption workflow in a test-minimal scenario and provide clear pass/fail criteria for each adoption step.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Test cases cover all three phases of adoption (preparation, base deployment, database adoption) as documented.
• Tests validate HSM key generation, storage, and retrieval operations work correctly.
• Tests verify successful migration of existing keys from software to HSM.
• Tests validate encryption/decryption operations using HSM-stored keys.
• Tests generate structured output compatible with CI reporting tools.
• Test data cleanup occurs automatically after test completion.
