      To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

      1. Deploy 17.1 overcloud
      2. run validation
      validation run --group post-deployment
      or
      validation run --validation oslo-config-validator --inventory /home/stack/overcloud-deploy/overcloud/tripleo-ansible-inventory.yaml

      Expected behavior

      • oslo-config-validator validation completes successfully

      Additional context

      • looking at the validation history get output for the failed validation, it seems to be failing here on all 3 controllers:
                           "hosts": {
                              "overcloud-controller0": {
                                  "_ansible_no_log": null,
                                  "action": "fail",
                                  "changed": false,
                                  "failed": true,
                                  "msg": "Requested template key os_vif_ovs isn't present in the options data dictionary.
      • this is reproducible in at least 3 different environments
