Summary:

• This spike aims to investigate/estimate the impact of switching Designate's oslo.service backend to "threading".

Goal:

• Successfully run Designate with the oslo.service "threading" backend in a testing environment and get the (expected) failures.

TimeBox:

• Specify the maximum amount of time we want to invest 

Deliverables/Outcomes:

• A clear picture of failures and hopefully estimation of time that it would take the designate team to implement and fix the failures.
