Goal:

• Goal of this epic is to remove eventlet usage from openstack/networking-baremetal and oepnstack/networking-generic-switch
• Eventlet must be removed before the upstream G development cycle is completed eventlet is anticipated to removed from shared libraries in the H development cycle.
• Ironic, and other related components out of scope of this individual epic. The only in-scope project is networking-baremetal and networking-generic-switch, as plugins which facilitate network interactions. That being said if any additional item is found, then individual epics should be opened. The overall goal is to ensure there are not comparability issues when neutron is able to remove eventlet as well.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Eventlet dependencies have been removed from the code base.
• Unit/scenario/integration testings are passing upstream.

Open questions:

• This item might make progress upstream in advance of us beginning work on this area.
