Goal:

• RHOSO lightspeed service must have a provider for embedding database, same as Openshift lightspeed
• This provider must build on lightspeed-core/rag-content

Acceptance Criteria:

• provider can generate embeddings for RHOSO docs:
  • from upstream
  • from downstream
• provider container image is available from quay.io
• generated embeddings can be used by RHOSO Lightspeed service
• Vector database must be updated in tandem with the documentation. Ideally through a hook in relevant repositories, or periodic check on changes in the documentation source.

Open questions:

• How to retrieve results from both RHOSO embedding database and Openshift database?
