Ironic (w/Nova) has no means to support an explicit logical port to physical port binding mapping

      As an operator, I need bare metal instances to be able to prefer specific ports, for example I may have a 25GB port, a 10GB port, and a 1 GB port I use to provision my baremetal node. The very last thing I want is my bare metal instance to use the 1GB port for the instance workload, and prefer the 25GB port for the primary instance workload.

      Ideally, I would like to be able to tell ironic to better weigh or explicitly use, for example, the 25GB port instead of the 10 GB or 1 GB port.

       

      As a developer, I believe we do presently weight the selection, but will need to check.
