The OpenStackControlplane CRD size is quite large. We know there is a size limit around 1MB (due to the etcd cluster storage size).

We are already over 900k.

We have some internal structs like lib-common's "extramounts" that are quite large and can be "trimmed" to give us significant space savings (over 120k space savings estimated).
