      Feature Overview
This feature introduces the adoption of a Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) 17.1 deployment using ML2/OVN dynamic routing with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for control and data planes to Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift (RHOSO) 18. By leveraging BGP routing in a Layer 3 (L3) data center, this deployment overcomes the scaling limitations of traditional Layer 2 (L2) networks, addressing issues such as large failure domains, broadcast traffic, and long convergence times during failure recoveries. This approach is critical for customers operating in large, scalable environments looking for improved efficiency and resilience.
