Are we following Kubernetes and OpenShift standards when it comes to reporting events and formatting logs, in the components we own? Better logs result in fewer bug reports and fewer escalations, which is the primary driver for this work.

Tasks:

1. identify event reporting standards
2. identify logging standards
3. identify other potential interfaces that are not events or logs
4. analyse our components to see whether we are doing the right thing

There are probably multiple ways to solve the final point. We should figure this out as part of the spike.
