SBS by default uses unique URL for all avatars. It's based on username. But many people use default avatar which is always same.
Example: http://community.jboss.org/people/objectiser/avatar/22.png?a=-1

It would be better to use for those default avatars one same URL. Then browser will do one request and use it from browser cache instead of tens of requests with exactly same content.
