1) Create an announcement
2) fill subj and body
3) do not change "Active Date" options (so it set to Now).
4) Choose "Expire in a specific number of days after becoming active:" and enter for example "3" into input.
5) click post

Result: announcement not active and message "Enter number of days" shown. Input which was filled - empty.
