Recently there's been a whole lot (really a whole lot) of spammers flooding the community forums and the wiki with numerous spam posts all over the place. The current process of manually deleting all those posts and reporting it to help.jboss.org is no longer scaling and I have lost patience to keep doing it.
IMO, it would be good to allow forum admins (I'm one) to lock accounts and with a single click delete all posts from a user. Of course, since even forum admins are human and might abuse their powers, the "delete" could potentially be a "soft" delete which would allow the post(s) to be resurrected if it's found that the admin abused his power.
By the way, this is just a "after" action for handling spammers. It would be far better to have some way to prevent their spammers from creating such accounts and posts in first place. But that's something that completely depends on the forum software abilities which I don't have knowledge about.
