openshift/operator-framework-rukpak has no common git history with operator-framework/rukpak. This means we can’t do the rebase process like we want to going forward.

Create a new branch based on upstream/main, then move code over from the downstream main branch as new UPSTREAM commits.

Finally, once we get the go ahead on the appropriate direction from ART/TRT, make this the new main branch.
