In order to remove coredns entirely from on-prem deployments, it will be necessary to verify with the OpenShift architecture team that we can safely remove node. There is already an enhancement[0] from the Azure team that relates to this, but since that is platform-specific we will want to create our own to explain why we also want to remove internal DNS resolution for nodes.
