In 4.8 we removed the mdns name resolution from coredns, but there is some code in MCO related to rendering the mdns templates that is no longer needed. I'm hesitant to remove it in 4.8 in case we end up rendering the old templates with the new code, so I'm creating this task to remind us to remove these bits in 4.9.
