In the beginning, there were only builder images. But now we have runtime images. Yet the builders occupy the "default" image name. The builders are necessarily much larger than the runtimes, and there's the possibility that folks would assume ubi10/openjdk-XX was a suitable runtime image. They might then be unhappy at the image size.

If we renamed the builders to ubi10/openjdk-XX-builder , it would be unambigious. I would propose not populating the older name at all.
