rsync permissions problem when S2I_SOURCE_CONFIGURATION_DIR is populated

      output of s2i process when configuration/hello.txt exists in the app sources:

      We've had similar bugs before for either the app code or data.

      test image was ubi9/openjdk-21 – needs reconfirming on specific versions
