4.16 nightlies have been failing since Dec.5th on 4.16 because one test:
[sig-storage] In-tree Volumes [Driver: nfs] [Testpattern: Dynamic PV (default fs)] provisioning should mount multiple PV pointing to the same storage on the same node [Suite:openshift/conformance/parallel] [Suite:k8s]
has been failing. The test previously was passing on the Nov.24th build.
The kubelet logs show this error:
Dec 04 23:46:10 ip-10-0-17-55 kubenswrapper[2386]: Mounting command: mount Dec 04 23:46:10 ip-10-0-17-55 kubenswrapper[2386]: Mounting arguments: -t nfs -o vers=4.1 10.128.2.18:/export/pvc-fe7c3989-5d04-40a7-948f-c372d2fb6368 /var/lib/kubelet/pods/d1c49334-fc35-402c-9831-3a5fce1f334c/volumes/kubernetes.io~nfs/pvc-fe7c3989-5d04-40a7-948f-c372d2fb6368 Dec 04 23:46:10 ip-10-0-17-55 kubenswrapper[2386]: Output: mount.nfs: mount system call failed
It is not clear why this is happening - The delta between the releases as seen in the first failing release after Nov 24th doesn't point to any obvious component changes that would cause this.
The diff between the scos packages of Nov 24th and Dec 03 indicates changes in the kernel, glibc and runc and nothing else related. On the other hand, the same test succeeds for 4.17 with the same kernel, glibc and runc versions.
