Outline the proposed title of this feature request. Title: IAM health management
What is the nature and problem description of the request? Answer: To monitor health of IAM user management this feature is needed. Below are metric requirements proposed in collaboration with Scale MAPS team. These metrics will help to monitor IAM health and usage in Scale cluster. Metrics for IAM APIs – Similar to the existing metrics collected for S3 APIs, please collect metrics like below for supported IAM APIs:
operation count – total number of IAM API calls
operation average, min and max response time
count of operations failing with errors.
In addition, for each account please collect:
IAM APIs requests handled for the account
Failed IAM requests for the account.
These metrics will enable Scale health monitoring to check if the failure count for any account is beyond a threshold (default/customer defined), and if needed raise alert in health monitoring for the account. The existing Scale health monitoring logic already supports threshold checks, alerts, including customer defined thresholds.

Are there any Documentation Requirements for this request? Answer: Yes
Is the request coming from a specific customer or subset of customers (on prem only, cloud only, etc). Please don't mention any customer related sensitive information. Answer: Yes, this is required to support IAM user management feature for various IBM Storage Scale customers.
