Problem:
Currently in the Import flow, we default to Deployments. If developers want to use Deployment Configs or Serverless as a default, we force them to make that selection every time. Additionally, if Serverless is installed, we should default to Serverless by default!
Why is it important?
- Helps to promote the use of Serverless functionality.
- Improves the user experience. Users who don't want the OpenShift default will not have to continually change the resource type when the use this flow.
Acceptance criteria:
- User is able to set their Resource preference for Import flow via User Prefs
- Users default setting is Deployment when the Serverless Operator is not installed
- Users default setting is Serverless when the Serverless Operator is installed
- Users experience in the Import flow includes having the default set in Users Prefs as the default Resource Type
- Users experience in the Import flow includes the ability to change the resource type
