ODC Sprint 196
-
Urgent
Description of problem:
Drag and drop to create a service binding connector between an application and an operator backed service fails in topology. Instead of creating the connector, a context menu appears.
Prerequisites (if any, like setup, operators/versions):
install service binding operator from operator hub
Steps to Reproduce
- using the developer catalog, install an operator backed service (will need to install a corresponding operator from operator hub first)
- create an application by importing from git or deploying a container
- go to topology
- hover the application deployment and drag the connector to the operator backed service
Actual results:
Observe that when dragging the connector to the operator backed service, the tooltip shows "create a binding connector". However upon release, a context menu appears instead of creating the connection.
Expected results:
service binding should be created when releasing the connector on a valid component
Reproducibility (Always/Intermittent/Only Once):
always
