Serving and Eventing breadcrumbs should direct users back to tabbed page view

XMLWordPrintable

    • ODC Sprint 196
    • Medium

      Description of problem:

Today on the Serving page on the Admin side, if you click into a Service, Revision, or Route, the breadcrumb from that details page brings you to the generic list view of that resource type. Instead, the breadcrumb should bring you back to the tabbed list view from which you arrived.

The same goes for the Eventing page. Additionally, for resources with subtypes such as Event Sources, the breadcrumb should read "Event Sources" rather than the specific type you are looking at, and redirect you to the tabbed list view of Event sources. This logic should apply to any other resources under Eventing with subtypes such as Channels.

Prerequisites (if any, like setup, operators/versions):

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to Serving
      2. Click into a Service
      3. In the breadcrumb, click Services

      Actual results:

Redirected to generic list view of Services

      Expected results:

Redirect you to Serving page on the Services tab

      Reproducibility (Always/Intermittent/Only Once):

      Always
