Description of problem:

Clicking on hint when vertical navigation is collapsed is not giving appropriate result in firefox

Include hint for the developer in step 1 of Sample application quick start

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start the sample-application quick start
2. Collapse vertical navigation
3. In step one click on the developer hint

Expected results:

The left pane should appear hinting at developer perspective
