aballantyne: christianvogt Any ideas who would do the actual saving of said data? It requires some sorta db or storage mechanism that I suspect the UI team is not going to be responsible for.

christianvogt: i will be creating an enhancement PR to start a broader discussion. 4.7 was a good time frame to try and get this in for. We will need some backend work on the console it seems though.
