    • TE should be grouped with OCPSTRAT-1375; TE for TP should be done to increase exposure to CEE before the roll-out of V1 to all customers.

This feature is composed of content which did not fit into the minimum viable OLMv0 feature work for 4.15.

      Goals:

      • users can visualize update graphs in mermaid format with deprecation indicators for bundle, channel, or package scopes
      • upstream documentation describing
        • how current indicators are structured in catalog contexts
        • how this meaning differs from previous indicators (olm.deprecated & olm.subtitutesfor)
        • some best-practices for deprecation, for e.g.
          • don't deprecate a channel head unless either all other bundle versions are deprecated which compose that channel, or unless the channel itself is deprecated
          • be descriptive in deprecation messaging, providing clear destination information for users
      • OLM v1 operator status visibility and resolution influence
