Outcome Overview
Once all Features and/or Initiatives in this Outcome are complete, what tangible, incremental, and (ideally) measurable movement will be made toward the company's Strategic Goal(s)?
This is the overarching issue to track the Operator life cycle tiering deliverable. This is scoped to apply to all Red Hat shipped Operators for product offerings will have a life cycle strategy defined and implemented.
Success Criteria
What is the success criteria for this strategic outcome? Avoid listing Features or Initiatives and instead describe "what must be true" for the outcome to be considered delivered.
- All operators as part of offerings (not community) which are shipped by Red Hat will have a selected life cycle strategy; Aligned, Agnostic or Rolling
- Customers and the field can determine the associated life cycle strategy, start and end dates for support phases, OpenShift platform compatibility and EUS upgradability for Red Hat offering Operators
- A detailed explanation for each life cycle tier is available for customer and field consumption
- Life cycles and tiers are in effect and honored by development teams (target OCP 4.14)
