Feature Overview (aka. Goal Summary)
Today, RHEL CoreOS only supports iSCSI volumes for use with PVs. Some baremetal cloud providers, like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, use iSCSI devices for their boot volumes. Ignition/CoreOS installer should work in such scenarios.
Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)
The primary goal is to make sure that RHCOS can be installed onto Oracle Cloud bare metal shapes (instance types).
The secondary goal is to allow for generic iSCSI usage as a primary disk.
Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):
RHCOS can be installed onto Oracle Cloud Infrastructure bare metal instance types.
Use Cases (Optional):
Generic use.
