Feature Overview (aka. Goal Summary)
Provide the ability to the user to configure the timeout for the Installer to bootstrap a cluster on any given platform.
Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)
As a user I will be able to instruct the Installer to wait for the Cluster bootstrap for a fixed time increasing the actual hard-coded timeout for this process.
Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):
The user will be able to configure a custom timeout for the cluster's bootstrap process while installing OpenShift on any platform. This is particularly problematic for bare metal deployments (including bare metal nodes in public cloud environments) and environments where internet connection is slow.
Use Cases (Optional):
So far the main issues reported have occurred for bare metal platforms (including AWS bare metal) and environments with slow internet connection but this feature should not be limited to a specific platform.
Documentation Considerations
Documentation will be required to explain the user how to change the default timeout for the bootstrap process.
