Feature Overview
This feature’s goal is to allow user to provision both x64_64 and aarch64 machines from the same cluster, using both virtual media and network boot. This feature is on IPI on BareMetal Platform as it is currently not available on IPI (doc)
Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)
1. Enable provisioning of both x86_64 and aarch64 machines from a single x86_64 cluster using:
Virtual Media (Part 1). iPXE/Network Boot (Part 2).
2. Provision method is IPI
Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):
1. Provision both x64_64 and aarch64 machines from a x64_64 using virtual media.
2. Provision both x64_64 and aarch64 machines from a x64_64 using iPXE (network boot).
3. The work for this feature is aligned with the ZTP converged flow
