      Feature Overview

Bring IPv4/IPv6 dual stack support to OpenShift Container Platform 4 deployments utilizing Hosted Control Planes (HCP) on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Currently, HCP clusters on AWS are primarily restricted to IPv4-only deployments, creating limitations for applications that require both IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, or those migrating from or interacting with IPv6-only services.

      Goals

Our primary goal is to empower users to deploy hosted clusters on AWS with an IPv4/IPv6 dual stack configuration. This will remove the current IPv4-only constraint for AWS.

      Requirements

As this work depends on changes specially in CAPA, as a result of the work tracked in OCPSTRAT-886, once this dependencies are completed the requirement is to have CI for dual stack in HCP for the AWS provider.
