Feature Overview

• Intention is to enable Control Plane Only Updates across odd versions, ie: 4.15 to 4.17, pending QE capacity agreement

• • If QE agreed channel automation is updated to include 4.N-2.z in 4.N channels when N is odd
• Channel automation adds 4.N-2.z to 4.N stable and fast channels once 4.N channels have updates from 4.N-1.z
  • From stable-4.14 and later
• Intention is to enable this across a stride of 3 releases ie: 4.14 to 4.17 and 4.15 to 4.18, pending QE capacity agreement
  • If QE agreed, update docs
  • API-server changes are required to unblock the skew to N+3
