Feature Overview
Red Hat Central Infrastructure Management (CIM) allows passing a YAML in the UI for the host network configuration, where the user can configure static IPs, VLANs and bonds, among other settings. Its user interface though doesn't include these three host network configuration attributes in the Web UI forms.
This feature will provide a Web UI for these 3 settings when configuring the host networking, which are the most common requests in host network configuration.
Assisted Installer SaaS already supports static IPs and VLANs, and with this feature it will add bonds.
Goals
The user interface in Assisted Installer and in RHACM CIM will provide the same functionality allowing the configuration of static IPs, VLANs and bonds for the configured hosts.
Requirements
- RHACM CIM can configure via UI static IPs
- RHACM CIM can configure via UI VLANs
- RHACM CIM can configure via UI networking bonds
- Assisted Installer can configure via UI static IPs (done before this feature)
- Assisted Installer can configure via UI VLANs (done before this feature)
