Feature Overview
As an OpenShift Infrastructure owner I would like to be able to install OCP using UEFI HTTP boot on bare metal nodes.
Why is this important?
While UEFI HTTP boot is common, we don't support it and instead we use iPXE. Examples of machines that only support UEFI HTTP are BlueField-2/3 DPU, which doesn't have the capabilities to support virtual media deployments via Redfish. By providing support for HTTP boot via Redfish we can have OCP running in this machines without resorting to PXE booting.
Redfish ComputerSystem schema v1.9.0 introduced support for the HttpBootUri parameter.
Note: We don't have access to Bluefield 2 machines. This feature adds generic support.
