      Feature Overview (aka. Goal Summary)

To add support for assisted installer, agent based installer or installer using ISO files to install RHOCP on RH OpenStack Platform. Customers find operational value in running ISO image based installer for OpenShift Platform. Today only IPI or UPI installers are supported with Red Hat OpenStack platform.

The goal is to validate and support agent based installer and assisted installer with OpenStack.

      Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)

      • ability to use assisted installer/agent based installer ISO to install the OpenShift platform on top of openstack
      • allow for integration with existing openstack services (cinder, octavia, nova, neutron etc.)
      • ability to use ISO based installer on mix of VM and BM without using Ironic

      Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):

      • fully functional OCP deployment on top of OSP with ISO based image installer

        Use Cases (Optional):

      • shift-on-stack
      • mix of baremetal and Virtual Machine deployment without Ironic service
