Looking at the daemonset, we are using nvml from nvidia and it doesn't really seem like we actrually need the python based CUDA.
If we can figure out to only include what we need we can minimize CVE exposure from python and provide a path to offer a supported image without relying on NVIDIA.
I think we can get an exception for 90 days to release but we have to figure out how to use supported images.
